HSBC Premier Black Card

The Problem

Pre-Back9, HSBC Premier Black Card holders could only redeem their golfing privileges by getting in touch with a contact at the bank itself via phone or email. This process was often lengthy and involved back and forth communications between the card holder, golf courses and the HSBC admin team. Therefore HSBC wanted to improve the card holder experience and increase the usage of the offered privileges.

Back9’s Solution

Back9 made it possible for HSBC Black Card users to redeem their golfing benefits via our app. By implementing smart BIN number recognition, our technology automatically attaches the user’s privileges to their qualifying card. Card holders are able to book two free rounds of golf a month at participating golf courses across the UAE.

Our technology facilitates programme rules, meaning that once these rounds are redeemed, the user can still book tee times and pay using their listed HSBC Black Card.
